Description:
Santa Fe F7A #38L and 2 B Units are the power for westbound train #23, formerly the GRAND CANYON LIMITED, making the station stop at Chillicothe, IL. By this point in time, the former GCL was no longer carrying any sleepers, and had been reduced to a lightweight baggage-express car (looks to be P-S built in this case), 2 P-S 44 seat lightweight leg rest chairs, and a P-S lightweight lunch counter diner. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide. Year, month, and date are approximate. Photographer is unknown.
